NSW practices welcome the unvaccinated

November 19, 2021 Staff reporters

Optometry practices in New South Wales (NSW) are no longer required to check the Covid-19 vaccination status of staff or patients.

The restrictions were lifted on 16 November 2021, with the state having a 90% vaccination rate at that time. Optometry Victoria South Australia confirmed that unvaccinated staff and shop are also allowed to return there, but masks remain mandatory for staff in all states.
