The much-anticipated 52nd Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) has been postponed to 25 February-1 March 2022, as Victoria, New South Wales and Auckland continue to battle Covid-19.

“We hope you will agree that this is a pragmatic move that gives everyone the best shot at a face-to-face event and to attend a congress in the format that you all know and love,” said the RANZCO board in a statement. “We very much hope that a majority of members will be able to attend the congress in-person, and of course, there will be the option to attend virtually.”

Even though the 2021 congress has now been moved to February 2022, RANZCO said the 2022 congress from 3-8 November 2022 in Perth, is expected to go ahead as planned. For more, see www.ranzco2021.com
